Delivery Charges

Delivery to UK destinations is currently FREE for all orders over £25.00 (before V.A.T.) and under 20kg with the exception of bulky items including but not limited to as wheels, springs, exhausts, seats, body panels (doors, door skins, wings, bonnets, boot lids, etc.), fuel tanks and all windscreens. Orders under £25.00 (before V.A.T.) will incur a delivery charge of £3.50. Orders over 20kg or including bulky items will have delivery calculated prior to despatch and customers will be informed if any delivery charge is required.

Where possible, delivery to customers outside UK is currently FREE for orders over £100.00 and under 2kg and within airmail dimension restrictions. Orders under £100.00 will incur a delivery charge of £9.99. For overseas orders over 2kg or larger than airmail dimension restrictions, we will endeavour to deliver for FREE if possible, delivery will be calculated prior to despatch and customers will be informed if any additional delivery charge is required.

Overseas deliveries might be subject to local import taxes and customs duties which are beyond our control and cannot be quoted for by us or our couriers. They must be paid for by the purchaser at point of entry. These charges are not included in the cost of items or delivery prices.

EU customers will not be charged UK VAT at time of sale they might be subject to payment of VAT at their local rate and any import duties or surcharges to the delivery carrier.

Some items may incur special shipping charges, particularly windscreens. We are able to ship windscreens anywhere in the world but because of the nature of them, they are shipped in special windscreen boxes secured to wooden pallets, there is a non-refundable charge for both the windscreen box and the pallet. One windscreen box can hold up to 6 or 8 windscreens depending on the windscreens.


UK - Motaclan use Royal Mail and leading parcel delivery services for orders within the U.K. Items that are in excess of 610mm x 460mm x 460mm will be sent by carrier.

European & Other destinations - Overseas delivery for parcels under 2kg in weight (and within size restrictions) we use Royal Mail Airsure or Royal Mail International Signed For. For heavier or bulky items for overseas delivery we can get quotes from our couriers and from a number of freight forwarders for both air and surface delivery.


All items are supplied with a minimum of a 90 day guarantee. Most items have a 12 month manufacturer’s replacement guarantee from date of purchase not from date of installation or first use. Please contact us immediately if you believe that there is a warranty issue and a copy of your invoice is required to proceed any further. Please provide as much information as possible relating to the problem. You must return the defective part to us directly before any action can be taken.

In the majority of purchases, the warranty will not cover labour, failure of any related part or mis-installation of the item, nor will the liability cover any costs in excess of the original part. Defective parts can only be exchanged and not refunded. Warranties are not transferable and do not affect your statutory consumer rights. Our warranty only covers the components in question and we will not be liable for any further costs involved in repairing the vehicle. No warranty claim will be upheld if the failure is caused by incorrect installation, mis-use or failure of a related part.


Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, UK residents have 7 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) of receipt of goods to decide whether to keep the goods or cancel their order. Exclusions from this rule include orders placed by UK companies, orders for “made to order” items or orders for non-stock items that have been specially ordered.

In the event a customer wishes to cancel their order, they must inform Motaclan in writing within seven days of receipt of the goods by either e-mailing us with the subject “Order Cancellation”.

It is the customer’s duty to return all goods to Motaclan unopened, in a state so they may be resold as ‘new’ and at the customer’s expense. Upon receipt of the returned items, a refund for the original order including the initial delivery costs will be credited within 7 working days.


Delivery shortages or errors must be reported to Motaclan in writing within 7 days of receipt of delivery.

Damaged Goods

Goods that are found to be damaged on receipt of delivery must be reported in writing to Motaclan within 7 days of receipt of delivery. Damaged goods not reported within 7 days will not be accepted back for refund or replacement. Motaclan will arrange for collection/return of the goods and refunds/replacements will be issued as soon as it is confirmed the goods are damaged.

Faulty Goods

Faulty goods must be reported to Motaclan in writing as soon as the fault occurs. Motaclan will arrange for collection/return of these goods and replacements will be issued as soon as it is confirmed the goods are faulty. Some goods may have to be sent to the supplier for testing, and could take up to 30 working days for faults to be confirmed. If a replacement is required while the goods are being inspected, the customer must pay for the replacement part and shipping. Once the original goods have been confirmed as faulty, the customer will be refunded the cost of the replacement part and the shipping costs.

Should the parts be found to be in perfect working order, Motaclan reserves the right to charge the customer for any carriage charges incurred in the collection of the parts from the customer. The customer will then have the choice to either have the goods returned to him at his expense or cancel the parts in which case the return will be dealt with as a cancelled order.


If goods are to be returned to Motaclan for any reason, the customer must first obtain a Returns Authorisation Number from our Web Sales department. We are unable to accept any returns that are not accompanied by a Returns Authorisation Number.

Non-Acceptance of Orders

Motaclan reserves the right to not accept an order for reasons including but not limited to the following:

• The goods being unavailable either from our stock or our suppliers

• Our inability to obtain authorisation for payment

• The identification of a pricing or description error.
